Il guaio più grosso di questo lungometraggio è l'inevitabile confronto che si è portati a fare con "Memorie dal passato", rispetto al quale questo "Requiem per gli Ishin..." è inferiore da tutti i punti di vista. Inferiore pure, anche se non così nettamente, all'epilogo "Seisou Hen". Comunque, ci sono varie cose da salvare.
