- Biografia:
- Kishō Taniyama nasce a Ube, nella prefettura di Yamaguchi. Debutta nella prima metà degli anni '90 e ricopre diversi ruoli di supporto fino a ottenere la prima notorietà grazie alla serie La corda d'oro. La fama esplode nel 2011 grazie al ruolo di Natsuki Shinomiya in Uta no Prince-sama Maji LOVE 1000% e assieme ai colleghi del gruppo ST☆RISH (Takuma Terashima, Kenichi Suzumura,Mamoru Miyano, Junichi Suwabe, Hiro Shimono) vince nel 2012 il premio per Best Musical Performance alla sesta cerimonia dei Seiyū Awards. Sotto il nome di Kishow fonda la band Granrodeo che debutta nel 2005 e crea canzoni per svariate serie animate, tra le quali ricordiamo Can Do, Rimfire e The Other Self (prima e seconda serie di Kuroko no basket), Henai no Rondo (Karneval), Trash Candy (Bungo Stray Dogs), 7 -seven- e Howling (prima e seconda serie di The Seven Deadly Sins) in collaborazione con i FLOW. Il suo soprannome è Kiiyan.
