Il sito ufficiale del Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2023 (TAAF 2023) ha annunciato i 101 titoli selezionati nel sondaggio sul miglior anime dell'anno.

Dropkick on My Devil!!! X, la terza stagione del franchise omonimo, guida la classifica tra le serie TV. Invece, Uta no Prince-sama The movie: Maji Love Starish Tours, il secondo film-concerto del franchise di Uta no Prince-sama, si è posizionato in cima alla classifica dei film.
 
Il Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2023 annuncia i 101 titoli dell'anno


Tra i 411 titoli distribuiti o mandati in onda in Giappone nell'anno fiscale del 2022 (quindi dal primo ottobre 2021 al 30 settembre 2022) i fan hanno votato le loro opere preferite, "I cento anime preferiti dal pubblico", dal cui novero verranno selezionati i vincitori. Saranno premiati un miglior film e una miglior serie, scelti da addetti ai lavori, e verranno attribuiti anche diversi premi individuali e un premio del pubblico (per cui non si sommeranno i voti ricevuti finora).

Il numero totale di voti raccolti è stato di 75.828. A causa di due opere che hanno raggiunto lo stesso numero di voti, quest'anno sono stati inseriti in classifica più di 100 titoli.
